Biography
One of my research interests is trying to understand what happens when teachers attempt to innovate in the way that they teach (including my own attempts to teach in different ways).
The´India journal´ is about a research project which involved giving children digital cameras to record aspects of their lives. Three of us did parallel projects and colleagues, Peter Egg and Gerhild Trubwasser worked in Thailand, Nicaragua and Colombia. Our report is available as a (big) pdf file from my pages on the CARE web site.
´Visual Dialogues´ is a project with Barbara Walker and Christian Blickem in CARE with Veronica Sekules from the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Art and art educators in various city galleries working on projects with artists and young people.
